"Little Thrifty" #118, BANK This is a very special figurine. It depicts a young girl placing a coin in a medieval style poor box. But is is an operating BANK!! 'Little Thrifty' was first modeled in 1939 by master sculptor Arthur Moeller and then redesigned by master sculptor Rudolf in 1963. It was retired in 1999. It is usually found with a key and a metal plug beneath the base. An extremely colorful and detailed porcelain piece made by the fabulous craftsmen at the Goebel factory. There is such beautiful detail in this hand painted piece of a little girl saving her money - so typical of the quality of Goebel's porcelain figurines which never diminishes over the ages! |
Angel Candle Bridge and Plate #241 Designed by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1976, |

Whitsuntide #163 A truly unique Hummel, 6.5” high, showing angels celebrating Whitsuntide (the week beginning with Whitsunday - Pentecost and especially the first three days of this week). This piece was first produced in 1946 by master sculptor Arthur Moeller. It was originally called "Christmas" and some times known as "Happy New Year". It was one of the early releases and removed from production in 1960, then reinstated in 1977 and temporarily withdrawn in 1999. The older pieces are very scarce and highly sought by collectors. |

Hummel #441 Call to Worship TMK #6 This piece was produced in 1988 and is only the 2nd clock ever made from one of Sister Maria’s designs. It is in MINT condition, no marks, cracks, or blemishes or crazing on bottom. But wait! Not only is it a clock but it plays two tunes on the hour! You can set it for “Ave Maria” or “Westminster Chimes”. WOW!! It comes with a “C” battery also. This truly unique Hummel stands 13” high, showing angels making the call to services. It is part of the Century Collection created for a one-year limited production. Figures in the collection bear the “XX” Roman numeral on their base. The detail and workmanship are truly remarkable. A credit to the master artists at Goebel. |

Hummel #396 “Ride into Christmas” It's a tradition to visit the forest each year and search for a special Christmas tree. This young lad has found the perfect evergreen, with it resting in his basket, he uses his lantern to guide his way back home. Ride Into Christmas was first designed by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1970. It should be noted that Skrobek considered this piece his favorite design of the hundreds he modeled during his many years at Goebel. This popular winter figurine was first launched in the USA in 1972. |
